Termite Proof Plywood

Termite Proof Plywood

Termite Proof Plywood

Termite proof plywood is a special type of plywood treated with chemicals to resist termite and borer attacks, making it ideal for furniture, kitchens, wardrobes, and construction in termite-prone areas. Termite proof plywood is chemically treated engineered wood where preservatives are infused into the layers during manufacturing. These chemicals make the wood toxic or unpalatable to termites, preventing damage. Termite-proof plywood is specially treated with chemical preservatives, such as boron and phenol compounds, using vacuum pressure impregnation to resist termite and borer attacks. Key types include BWP (Boiling Waterproof) grade for high-moisture areas and Glue Line Protection (GLP) treated plywood, which ensures protection even on cut edges.
