Shutter plywood is a compressed and densified panel primarily used for architectural shuttering. These panels consist of multiple layers coated with phenolic resin, each placed at right angles to each other. The top and bottom plies are coated with a tough dual layer of water-repellent phenolic film, and both sides of the topsheet are coated with a highly absorbent kraft film for added toughness and water resistance.
